Events and Networking

msp organises and hosts a number of networking activities which provide opportunities for tenants to get to know each other, share knowledge and experiences and learn from experts in different fields. These events are generally provided free of charge to msp tenants.

 

Here are some of the things we offer:

msp Social

msp puts together a busy social calendar of events, which includes for example : quiz nights, a summer barbeque, Christmas or New Year drinks party, 5-aside football tournament.

Drop-in sessions

msp staff hold open drop-in sessions in the break-out areas in each building, where tenants can come along and discuss any issues informally over a cup of coffee.

msp Intranet

All tenants are connected to mspCircuit, a local intranet that provides a valuable way of connecting staff and tenants, sharing news and information and keeping people informed of new developments across all our sites.

As well as being a tool for reporting faults and booking conference rooms and catering facilities, mspCircuit aids networking across our sites by providing remote, 24 hour access to the msp community.

The user message boards enable tenants  to communicate about events, advertise job vacancies or raise any other issues they wish to discuss.

msp News

The msp newsletter increases its distribution each year, and is dedicated to reporting the success of its tenants through this medium. Read the latest issue here

Seminar Programme

The monthly seminars are part educational / part networking, with seminar topics covering a range of business, management and operational issues appropriate for new and developing SMEs.  Recent topics covered have included eg. financial and funding advice, legal issues, tax, marketing, PR, customer relations, overseas trading, intellectual property.

Wired City Reconnected

This regular networking group provides an opportunity for tenants to meet other companies on site as well as building useful links with companies from in and around Manchester in an informal setting.
