msp is located at the north-western hub of England’s optical fibre network. We have a number of Internet Service providers who are based on the science park who can provide very high bandwidth internet access to fellow tenants, as well as a wide range of other connectivity services. It’s important to note that these internet services are not comparable with traditional ADSL or cable services, in fact you get speeds not available to other businesses without spending thousands.
Melbourne Server Hosting
As their name suggests, Melbourne are not normally a broadband supplier, but they offer a very cost-effective connectivity package exclusively to msp tenants.
Melbourne can provide 100 MB broadband (both upstream and downstream, with a 1:5 contention ratio) for £95 per month. More details here: msp Tenant Broadband Package
For tenants (such as digital media companies) who require the ability to transfer large amounts of data, they can also provide an FTP server with a 500 GB capacity, with a web interface allowing the rapid upload and download of large files. This is normally £75 per month, but costs £50 per month along with the broadband package.
Costs for the complete package of 100 MB broadband and 500 GB FTP server are £145 per month, with a one-off charge of £75, and installation within one week.
Melbourne also provides many other services, including VPN and their core services of server hosting and co-location, and will be happy to discuss your requirements.

Ian Sandall, SPL Communications:
“Melbourne’s server and 100mb broadband has saved both time and money for my video production company. Their staff are great - and most importantly the connection is really reliable. Customer help is always readily available too. I can’t fault the service.”
