The Former Royal Eye Hospital (FREH) is a new 100,000 sq ft biomedical centre of excellence located on Oxford Road at the heart of Europe’s largest clinical and academic campus, made up of Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

The onsite facilities due for completion in Q4 2012 will include:

•    Wet laboratories
•    Specialised research facilities for clinical trials and evaluations
•    Hub space to encourage interaction
•    Break out areas and meeting rooms
•    Teaching facilities for vocational training
•    Offices
•    Media rooms
•    Café and catering facilities
•    Learning resource centre
•    A hub for healthcare related research and development
